Shop It To Me
If you're a good shopper, you've probably been to a sample sale. It's a sale where a sales rep or a company sells lots of products from one brand at deep discounts.

Shop it to me is a site that can act like your own personal "sample sale." Just tell the site what your favorite clothing brands are, and you'll automatically get an e-mail when those brands go on sale at various shopping sites. It's a great way to build up your own wardrobe and also to get a head start on your holiday shopping!

Desktop Widgets
They're the bane of IT departments everywhere... the "desktop widget." They're little programs that run on your computer unobtrusively and do various specialized tasks, from laying music from your favorite radio station to alerting you when your weather forecast changes. Sometimes, though, they come packaged with spyware, so it's best to get them from a trusted source.

Luckily, Yahoo! has gotten into the widget game with its new widget engine. It's free to download and there are literally thousands of different applications to download.

Three Easy Steps
It's become a cliché to say that retirement planning is a confusing process... but it is! Finding the right mix of investments is never easy.

MSN has three simple tips that can get you on the right path, and thankfully, they don't require a degree in finance or enormous willpower to put them into place.

The Trust
The Trust has just posted a new article on its site... it's suitable for reprinting in IAAP chapter or division newsletters or just perusing for your own interest. Let everyone know about The Trust's new Family of Givers program!

Or if you'd rather learn about the Trust's new programs in a more interactive way, you can check out the latest 2007 PowerPoint presentation, a version of the same talk given by Chairman Janine Riemersma CPS/CAP at this year's IAAP International Convention & Education Forum in Tampa, FL.
