  • http://www.health.gov - A portal to the websites of a number of multi-health initiatives and activities of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other Federal departments and agencies.
  • http://www.healthweb.org - Links to evaluated information resources selected by librarians and information professionals at academic medical centers in the U.S. Midwest.
  • http://www.sleepfoundation.org - Website of the National Sleep Foundation. The NSF is dedicated to improving public health and safety by achieving understanding of sleep and sleep disorders and by supporting sleep-related education, research and advocacy.
  • http://www.healthandage.com/ - One of the best health sites we have listed, from the Novartis Foundation for Gerontological Research.
  • http://www.infoaging.org/ - This site stands out from others because it focuses not on the health problems of aging, but on how to stay healthy as a senior.

  • http://www.slmseniors.com/ - SLM Seniors strives to be a one-stop shop for information for seniors. It succeeds best in the health arena, with its “MediFocus Guides” on many topics.

  • http://www.drweil.com - Dr. Weil stresses the importance of a healthy lifestyle as the best way to avoid illness. He also offers natural remedies for a variety of conditions ranging from allergies to stress & anxiety.
