Leadership at the Chapter Level

At the IAAP chapter level, you may help the RTF by serving as RTF chapter chairman. The RTF chairman raises awareness and builds enthusiasm for the RTF and its projects at the chapter level.

In addition, many chapters designate one month as “RTF Month,” with a presentation from the RTF chairman during its meeting. Be sure and check this web site (downloads) for a PowerPoint presentation that you can use during your presentation. It’s updated each year and is a great resource for getting your chapter fired up about the RTF.

The RTF also recognizes chapters that contribute most generously to the RTF with the following awards at the IAAP International Education Forum and Annual Meeting.

At the International level there are four International Trustees Awards awarded to:

• The chapter with fewer than 14 members having the largest monetary contribution to the RTF

• The chapter with 15-25 members having the largest monetary contribution to the RTF

• The chapter with 26-50 members having the largest monetary contribution to the RTF

• The chapter with 51 or more members having the largest monetary contribution to the RTF.

Remember that all contributions must be received in the IAAP Headquarters office by June 30 to be considered and totaled for any award.
